Wall Compatibility

The Magic Playwall is designed for indoor use and works best on clean, smooth, dry surfaces such as painted walls, doors, and glass.

We have also successfully tested the Magic Playwall on lightly textured surfaces including orange peel and knockdown walls. However, because every wall and paint finish is different, results may vary.

For best results:
• Apply to a clean, dust-free surface
• Wait at least 30 days after painting before installation
• Press firmly during application

Please note:
• Certain paint finishes (including stain-resistant or air-purifying paints) may affect adhesion
• MagicGrip™ is designed for intentional repositioning, not frequent daily removal and reapplication
• Repeated repositioning may weaken the adhesive over time
• Minor wall damage could occur during removal depending on wall condition and paint quality
• Colors may vary slightly depending on screen and device settings

Install

Step 1: Prep
Wipe your wall clean and ensure the surface is dry and dust-free. For best results, lay the Playwall flat overnight with heavy objects on top.

Step 2: Peel
Slowly peel back the clear backing from the bottom. Position the Playwall on the wall and continue peeling gradually as you smooth upward.

Step 3: Press
Use the included scraper tool to firmly smooth and secure the decal onto the wall, removing any air bubbles as you go.

Step 4: Play
That’s it! Your creative space is ready for drawing, learning, and everyday play.

Step 5: Reposition Anytime
Thanks to MagicGrip™, the Playwall can be removed and repositioned cleanly when needed. Perfect for room refreshes, growing spaces, and evolving routines

Note

Use only lightweight magnets and accessories intended for magnetic surfaces

To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth or baby wipe. For tougher marks, use a Magic Eraser or dry-erase cleaner.
